Sachithanandan leads a life that is as picturesque as the village where he lives. A single moment of weakness puts him through smouldering days of angst, despair and frustration. His wife Shyama is caught in a crisis of existence, wherein she opts for silent suffering and rebellion, leaving scars on her husband that fester with each day.
Both Jayaram and Meera do the roles with respect for the characters they enact. This movie has its share of tears, sighs and lengthy confessions of guilt and sharp admonition. Sugeeth manages to wrap these essential elements in a good-natured humour with a consistency that is sustained right through the length of the film. Onnum Mindathe passes off leaving the feel of a cool breeze.
